Connection

When circles started appearing in my work, I wasn’t sure why I was so enamored with them. I decided to keep exploring, which led me to so many connections including a large-scale collaboration with another palette knife artist.

My circles can be read as little halos in these paintings, and they aim to signify holiness, which I am learning more and more to mean “wholeness”. I believe the more we see ourselves, each other, and the natural world as part of this never-ending circle where nothing can be excluded, where there are no sharp edges or dividing lines, where all things are connected to all things, we can live more compassionate and authentic lives. I hope you enjoy this new body of work, but mostly I hope they encourage you to see how irrevocably connected you are to all that surrounds you.
