I worked on this abstract for quite some time. It was once nearly all blue, but as I built up the layers (and the texture) I wanted the horizon colors to stand out against a more neutral background– a reminder of those grey afternoons when any pop of color immediately becomes more intense in comparison. 

The sides are painted and the back is wired and ready to hang without a frame. The additional shipping price includes shipping within the U.S.A. Each painting is created and shipped out of Covington, LA.
