Day 32. Off in the Distance

Day 32’s painting is a commissioned piece. I’ve been struggling lately but this one gave me a little bit of peace. I’m leaving on a two day work trip today so I frantically tried to get day 33 and 34 finished without much success. Today’s image reminds me that there is still a long way to go and that one wrong turn or two isn’t going to break the entire project. Sometimes it’s good to look a little farther in the distance…a little beyond the next day and the next and into a larger future where growing and changing involve a few speed bumps and mess ups along the way.
