Day 64. A Sideways Stroll

Blue Crab Painting by Denise Hopkins

“Sideways” 10×10 oil on 1.5in canvas, $125 [creativ_button url=”http://www.dailypaintworks.com/fineart/denise-hopkins/sideways/389456″ icon=”” label=”Buy Now” colour=”blue” colour_custom=”” size=”medium” edge=”straight” target=”_self”]

It took me a while to get into painting today, but I think I eventually found my zone again. It didn’t come easily but I finally decided to quit forcing some other things in favor of today’s painting, which came easily and I enjoyed.

I think I’m liking the palette knife more than the brush. Every time I get frustrated I turn to it, and it almost never lets me down.
