My friend Scott is a talented photographer. And he knows me well enough to know that sending any kind of bird photo my way will result in a painting.
Even though it’s a bird, I still feel like I’m trying new things. It’s a different bird and someone else’s photo to reference. Once again, thank you for all the photos submitted. I love so many of them and am starting to enjoy painting again because of all the many options waiting for me each day. I was quickly becoming burnt out, starting to dread my 1:00 paint time. Now, I’m eager. I’ve got choices.
