“A New Day” 10×10, oil on canvas
Let’s all channel our inner Bob Ross and talk about happy accidents, shall we? What’s a mistake that turned into a joy?
Last week, I made a mistake with my canvas order. I usually order canvases that are 1.5 inches thick, but I accidentally ordered thicker ones– nearly 2.5 inches thick. Today is the first time I actually used one. I painted the sides gold, and this one, because of the added thickness, would make quite the statement on a wall or shelf. I’m not sure I’ll convert all my orders to this new size, but I’m really enjoying the change.
