The morning after Thanksgiving it always interesting.
I used to be obsessed with red– how I could work bright bits of it into places it didn’t necessarily belong. This challenge has changed my obsession to blue. I usually use ultramarine and little touches of phathlo. But I found some cobalt in a box of old oils and the combo has been, at least in my mind, nothing short of magic.
The blue fairywren I did a couple of days of go had his act together– he was smooth, bold, calm. Today’s woke up a little frazzled. His hair is all out of place. Reminds me of someone I might know 😉
