Meet Blue. Chocolate lab and best friend of a pretty special kid who turned 13 yesterday. I never thought I’d have stepkids, but now that I’m just weeks away from it all being official, I’m more grateful than ever. I don’t know Blue well, but from all accounts he seems to be a lot like his best friend– loyal, a good bit silly, with a bonafide heart of gold.
