I have am so grateful for all the photos sent my way after seeking out new subjects to paint. This is one of my absolute favorites. The photo worked as a painting because it is unposed, natural, has great colors, and shows figures in action. I love doing little figure studies rather than formal portraits so keep ’em coming if you’ve got something good.
