Description
“Crossing Oceans” was created for the 2023 Pass Christian Butterfly Festival to commemorate the presence of Mexican artist Carmen Parra who travelled from Mexico to the Mississippi Coast to preside as godmother of the festival. The artwork depicts the magnolia (Mississippi state flower) and the dahlia (Mexico’s national flower) as well as the monarch butterflies who migrate between the two places.
Denise Hopkins Fine Art giclée prints are professionally created on Canon’s flagship line of professional artwork reproduction printers employing the latest in pigment-based inks that have been laboratory tested for up to 200 years. Prints are created on 100% cotton, acid-free archival paper or a fine woven canvas specially coated for inkjet printing. Each print comes hand signed by the artist.
Paper prints include a foamcore backing and plastic sleeve, making them ready to place in any standard frame of the same size. All canvas prints come stretched on wooden stretchers, wired, and ready to hang. We recommend these customizable frames for our paper prints.
