Day 29. Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results

In twenty-nine days I’ve painted this particular bird a half dozen times, and I might just paint it again tomorrow. I’m not trying to achieve one thing in particular but rather explore some different strokes, colors, and techniques. I couldn’t tell you which is my favorite because I’ve learned so much from each of them. So I suppose I’m not really doing the same thing over and over. I’m painting the same subject. And the more I do, the more I love it. That sounds like the opposite of insanity.
