As you might notice from my subjects lately, I’m dying for a beach trip. Today’s painting is based on a photograph sent in by a friend. I love kids at the beach– their unbridled joy.
It’s been quite some time since I’ve done a brush painting with no palette knife work. I’m finding the palette knife difficult on these smaller canvases so I gave myself a break and just used a brush. It was a nice change of pace.
